The U.S. Government and the Government of Moldova signed Agreements to Support Democratic and Economic Development of Moldova
On Wednesday, September 28, 2016, the United States Government and the Government of Moldova signed Assistance Agreements to support good governance and economic development in the Republic of Moldova. Under these Agreements, the United States Government, represented by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has agreed to provide about $27 million dollars for activities which will help Moldova create a more effective and accountable democratic governance system and increase trade and investment in targeted sectors.
