Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev announced a new tender to select a candidate to produce trolleybuses in Moldova. Tarlev cancelled the results of the former international contest because the winner who was responsible for the creation of a Trolleybus Production Factory didn’t perform his duties. He made this declaration at the conference discussing the manufacturing of Moldovan trolleybuses and tractors. According to the press service of the government, Vasile Tarlev emphasized there is a great request of qualitative trolleybuses on the Moldovan internal and regional markets and emergency actions need to be taken. Also, the Chief of the Executives stressed the importance of the increases in tractor productivity by launching the manufacturing of the wheel tractor and by giving a modern twist to the T -70 caterpillar tractor. Vasile Tarlev mentioned about the slow development of the “Tracom” factory despite the fact the factory had increases in productivity. The Prime Minister also said that the Government’s goals are to create good conditions for the manufacturing of tractors, to have obvious increases in work productivity and to do new job enrolments.
