The assets of Austrian lender Raiffeisen's international division in Romania and Moldova rose to €6.4 percent billion by the end of the third quarter, 15.1 percent higher year-on-year, according to the group's financial report.
South Eastern Europe had the highest net commission income growth in the group, 27 percent year-on-year, up to €347 million, compared to €274 million at the end of Q3 of 2007.
Romania was best performer, as it registered the highest commission income, according to the report. Meanwhile, the group's provisions amounted to €90 million, of which €56 million were provisions made in Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Albania.
In Romania and Moldova, the lender had a total 533 units and 6,831 employees by the end of September. Raiffeisen International posted consolidated profit worth €861.5 million, 37.7 percent higher year-on-year. (NewsIn)
