Voronin demands Western aid. Moldova ambassador in Bucharest recalled to Chisinau

Moldova president asked for the aid of Western states in the attempt to reestablish the order in the Moldova Republic, the Interfax news agency informs, quoted by Reuters. Voronin also met on Tuesday the ambassadors in Chisinau, telling them that "Moldova  authorities are preoccupied with the protests taking place in the Capital city and call for support from Western states, in order to bring the situation back to normal". The Moldovan ambassador to Romania, Lidia Gutu, was recalled to Chisinau for consultations. HotNews.ro
