Azerbaijan Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov met his visiting Moldovan counterpart Alexandru Tanase.
Mammadov praised dynamic development of friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova.
According to press service of the Ministry, he briefed his Moldovan counterpart on ongoing justice and judicial reforms in Azerbaijan.
Tanase hailed Azerbaijan`s rapid economic development. He was curious about judicial and penitentiary reforms in Azerbaijan.
The ministers also exchanged views on a number of issues, including perspectives of cooperation and Azerbaijan`s experience in combating corruption.
Following the meeting, Tanase visited the Heydar Aliyev and Justice History Museums at the Ministry.
Later the same day, the Moldovan Minister visited the Baku pre-trial detention facility built to the international standards.
On November 17, Tanase will visit the Supreme Court.
