The European Commission has decided Moldova will resume exporting honey to the EU in 2010, the Moldovan Economy Ministry announced, cited by RBC agency.
At the end of October EC experts approved the quality of the Moldovan honey and now the European Parliament is to approve Moldova's inclusion on the list of countries that have the right to export honey to the EU.
The ban on the import of Moldovan honey came into force in June 2008 due to failure to reach the European quality standards.
