The Inauguration of the Moldovan-American Chamber of Commerce

On November 19th in the context of visit to Atlanta, state of Georgia, Mr. Igor Munteanu, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in the US, participated at the official inauguration of the Moldovan-American Chamber of Commerce, its founders being represented by remarkable members of the Moldovan Community in Georgia.  The key point of this structure will be the appeal to American investments, the creation of key projects and the attraction of modern technologies in the realm of traditional industries of the Republic of Moldova (winemaking industry, aromatizing cultures and natural products), as well as in the realm of the highly-competitive ones (IT, hardware and software). The inauguration of the company took place after a business meeting with Sam Wilson, the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta, Georgia, who was accompanied by Vice-President Janice Rys and the President of the Global Business Growth, Economic Development Division of the same Metro Atlanta Chamber, who showed interest in supporting any business initiative that are in the business portfolio of the more than 400 transnational and regional companies, that are a stable part of the business profile of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce (such as Coca Cola, UPS, Global pharmaceutical networks, Atlanta Airport and the port installations etc.).
