In accordance with the terms of the contract, the Swiss company Mercando Green Technology AG has undertaken to finance the construction of an industrial park in the village of Tsarigrad in the district of Drochia. According to the developped business plan and budget provided by the company BioEnergAgro SRL, the total investment will amount to about 25 million Euros.
As to Alfred-Andreas Watz - the head of Mercando Green Technology AG - his team is happy to work with BioEnergAgro SRL and is ready to fully finance one of the largest energy projects in Moldova.
The project Manager is the company MG-Ecotech Management Expertise LTD. It will coordinate the implementation of the project.
The transfer of funds is expected to be made in several stages. It is expected that the first tranche, amounting to 4-5 million Euros, will be received within the next month. In general, these funds will be directed to farms that plan to cultivate greenery.
The partners BioEnergAgro SRL have got acquainted on the spot with the location of the future industrial park, have studied the documentation and staff of the project.
At the end of the visit to Moldova, the investor's representatives had a meeting with the Economy Minister, Valeriu Lazar. Within the constructive conversation the minister has noted that the government, for its part, intends to fully support the implementation of this project as it is particularly important for the country.
