Air Moldova airline has signed electronic interline agreement (IET) with EL AL Israel Airlines (LY) that came in force from March, 21st, 2011.
The agreement will allow each of the parties to sell transportations on routes of other party using electronic ticket. Before that there only one possibility - by issuing manual/automated tickets, the thing that is rarely used and basically eliminated by airlines.
EL AL Israel Airlines is Israeli national carrier with the HQ in capital Tel-Aviv. EL AL Israel Airlines now serves one local (Eilat) and 46 international destinations in Europe, North America, South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Major destinations include New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, Bangkok, Honking, Beijing, Johannesburg etc.
Air Moldova airline flies direct to 17 destinations - Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaca, Rome, Milan, Verona, Paris, Moscow, St.Petersburg, Munich and Kiev, offering to its passengers two Class of service - Business and Economy.
Air Moldova is the biggest Moldovian airline and it has more than 50 % of air transportations registered on the national market.
