Romania supports and believes in the European agenda of the Republic of Moldova, State Secretary for European Affairs with the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) Bogdan Aurescu told the economic Forum EU - the Republic of Moldova, in Chisinau, on Wednesday, encouraging the Moldovan authorities to continue the reforms for their country's European accession.
Getting closer to the EU is not an easy short-term project, but it is an effort worth making, the Romanian official maintained. He reiterated the support Romania offered and was prepared to continue to offer to the Republic of Moldova in this direction, saying that this was a priority for Bucharest.
Bogdan Aurescu also hailed the efforts the Government in Chisinau made in the reform field, saying that the pro-European Executive of the Republic of Moldova managed to make progress within the Eastern Partnership and proved its decision in making a priority of the European accession vector.
