Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta on Tuesday will have consultations with his counterpart of the Republic of Moldova Iurie Leanca, within the working visit the latter pays to Bucharest, at the invitation of the Chief of Government.
'During the discussions, the two Prime Ministers will establish the main reference points of the political dialogue on a governmental level for the coming period and will agree on the priority action directions on a sector level. A special attention will be granted to the initiatives meant to connect the two states closer on an economic, commercial, cultural and inter-human relations level. They will make thorough assessments of the energy and transports interconnection projects, as well as of the bilateral cooperation initiatives carried out on the grounds of the various assistance programmes Romania provides,' the Government release shows.
Victor Ponta during the meeting will approach the progress the Republic of Moldova registered in the dialogue with the European Union and will reiterate Romania's firm support for Chisinau's objectives in the prospects of the Eastern Partnership Summit of Vilnius of November, the cited source points out.
This is the first visit paid to Romania in the current capacity of new Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova. Agerpres
