The Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for Conflicts Ambassador Andrii Deshchytsia will start his two-day visit to Chisinau and Tiraspol today.
On 26 September, Ambassador Deshchytsia and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Ambassador Jennifer Brush will travel to Tiraspol to meet with Transdniestrian leader YevgeniyShevchuk and Transdniestrian Chief Negotiator Nina Shtanski.
Deshchytsia will also open an art exhibition in the Tiraspol Office of the OSCE Mission to Moldova.
After the meeting in Tiraspol, on 26 September, Ambassador Deshchytsia will meet in Chisinau with the Moldovan Chief Negotiator Eugen Carpov.
On 27 September, he will meet with the Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Natalia Gherman, and with the Head of the Parliamentary Working Group on Transdniestrian Settlement, Vasile Shova. Deshchytsia and Brush will also travel to Vadul lui Voda to address the participants of the Model OSCE, a simulation exercise of the OSCE Permanent Council, which aims to show students from both banks of the river how the Organization works.
