U.S. Senator Bob Corker arrived in Moldova Monday for a two day visit. During his visit, Senator Corker will meet with Moldovan government officials and parliamentarians. He will also travel to Gagauzia, where he will meet with officials of the autonomous region.
Senator Corker was elected to the U.S. Senate from the state of Tennessee in 2006. He is a member of the Republican Party and ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. This is Senator Corker’s first trip to Moldova.
