Minsk to host session of Belarusian-Moldovan Intergovernmental Commission

The 11th session of the Belarusian-Moldovan Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation will be held in Minsk on December 3-4, Igor Milidovich, a counselor for trade and economic issues of the Belarusian Embassy in Moldova, told BelTA.

Before the session of the Commission, the Belarusian part of the commission will hold a session to consider the development of the Belarusian-Moldovan relations in various spheres.

The Belarusian-Moldovan Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation will consider setting up the production facility which will assemble caterpillar tractors. This project is being carried out by the Chisinau Tractor Works and Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ -trademark). The sides will also discuss the state and prospects of the cooperation in agro-industrial complex, industry and power engineering, road economy, automobile transport. Specialists will discuss development of the regional trade and economic cooperation, mutual supplies of goods and implementation of the agreement on free trade regime between Belarus and Moldova.

According to Igor Milidovich, the sides will also consider the cooperation in seed breeding, supplies of Belarusian farm machinery to Moldova, organization of servicing centres' network.
