Moldova is afraid of Russia's aggression

According to a member of the Parliament of Moldova from "Democratic Party" Oleg Serebrian handing out of Russian passports to citizens of Moldova endangers the independence of the country, and this was confirmed by the example of Georgia.

As Serebrian told Romanian radio, danger for the country is not distribution of Romanian passports, but that of Russian. In addition to Moldova official Moscow pursues this policy in Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

According to him, in August 2008, Russia under the pretext of protecting its citizens sent troops into Georgia. Tomorrow, the same thing could happen in Moldova, in particular, in the city of Baltsy, where majority of citizens have Russian passports.

"And the EU turns a blind eye to this and speaks only of the distribution of Romanian passports" - says Serebrian. (Expert Club)
