ANRCETI approved technical and commercial conditions for number portability implementation
With the launch of number portability, all mobile and fixed users will be able to benefit from portability services within five business days from the date they send a request to the provider in whose network they wish to have their numbers ported. This is a provision of the Technical and Commercial Conditions for number portability implementation in the Republic of Moldova, approved yesterday, February 26, in a public session, by ANRCETI Administrative Board. »

Number of subscribers to TV program retransmission services increased by over 7%
A report of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), based on statistical data submitted by providers of TV re-transmission services, shows that in nine months of 2012, the number of subscribers to TV program re-transmission services (multichannel TV) increased over the end of last year by 18,3 thousand (+7,2%) and exceeded 274,4 thousand, whereas the penetration rate of these services per 100 population grew by 0,52 p.p. and made 7,7%. »

Increasing number of users prefer dedicated wireless Internet access

ANRCETI will issue 4G licenses to three operators providing mobile networks and services
The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) will issue to the three operators providing public mobile networks and services, directly, before December 31, 2012, one license each, for the use of radio frequencies of 2500-2690 MHz band, for the provision of 4th generation (4G) public mobile terrestrial networks and services, with broadband radio access, in LTE standard. »
